Injection Therapy
When conservative care isn’t enough, an injection can break the cycle of inflammation and pain, letting rehab actually work.
Injection therapy at Southern Podiatry Clinic Nowra is used as part of a wider treatment plan, not as a standalone fix. Common targets include plantar fasciitis and Sinus tarsi pain. The aim is always to settle the pain enough that strengthening, orthotic and footwear changes can do their job.
Options at the clinic include local anaesthetic. We will explain which option suits your condition, the realistic outcomes, and any risks before you commit.
Injection therapy is never the first line, we exhaust conservative measures, get the diagnosis right, and only then discuss whether an injection is the right tool. Many patients never need one. For those who do, it can settle a problem that hasn’t moved with anything else.
